Use the actual mattress size
Write down mattress length, width and depth, along with the supplier’s proposed support arrangement. A bed-size label may be interpreted differently across markets. Ask for the finished frame and headboard dimensions as well as the mattress space.
Coordinate bedside and storage details
Compare bedside height with the final mattress height, and check drawer openings, switches and outlets in the layout. Include the wardrobe door or drawer movement in the room plan. For fitted storage, identify who measures, approves drawings and installs it.
Ask about assembly and future access
Request the parts list and assembly instructions before delivery. Confirm hardware packs and item labels. Check whether a headboard or frame needs to enter as one piece, and how the bed can be disassembled if it must be moved later.

Connect the room to your whole home
Give each item a stable reference, then connect its finish and dimensions to neighbouring rooms. Include packing, delivery access and assembly questions in the same schedule. A cohesive look should come with a proposal that can be checked item by item.
